Bought some 556 ammo. Can someone tell me about it. Brown box, each row is layered in thin brown paper. box says 5.56mm Ball CJC 008b. Brass is stamped wit a C J 93. Now the kicker, one box has a sticker on it{same box} 55 gr bullrt 25gr H335 and has 223 wrote next to it(hand loads maybe). What do you think

The 223 and 5.56 will interchange just fine. Shoot and be happy.
On a side note, if these are truly unknown handloads I'd not be shooting them at all, period. You don't know what they are and that can have bad, very bad reults.
Furthermore, to get you up to speed on the difference, just search for 5.56 in the search function. You should have many hours of reading the same thing over and over again.
Now you know!

The data base that I looked on shows the "CJ"brass as being made in China. But headstamps can be misleading and confusing some times. Just because that is what shows in a database that doesn't mean that is the only manufacturer that ever used that headstamp. The 93 probably indicates the year of manufacture.
The other box sounds like it is Winchester brass and I would guess it is some kind of handloads that somebody just put into that box.
BTW: Is the CJ93 stuff actually brass or is it steel cased?
