5.7x28 brass]

No one seems to pick up 5.7 brass around here. I think it's because there's so few different guns that shoot it. I've not looked for dies, but it ought to make a nice varmint round in a single shot or small bolt rifle. I know a person with one in a rifle, and it's a sweet shooter.

I pick up all I can find. Maybe when I get enough I'll make that phone call and get a barrel made..LOL I see the dies around off and on so that is handled easily enough.

The round could be a nice improvement over the rimfire cartridges especially the 17HMR and 22Mag, and more importantly it's reloadable, using very little powder to get 2,000fps. On the other hand, there's not a lot of rifles using the Jets, Hornets, and other small rounds,so how could we expect manufacturers to start offering this cartridge in their current rifles to avoid those custom rifle prices?
