50 or 60 grain VMAX?

the 60 v max has a higher BC 265 vs. BC 255 for the 55... the 60s seem to shoot a little better in my guns than the 55s but i tend to buy which ever one i can get the best price per 1000 at that moment in time.I also have very good luck with 40 grainers .

I have been shooting the Black Hills 60 gr Vmax in my RRA coyote carbine with good success. Routinely shoots five rounds into an inch at 100 yards.

Recently purchased a Daniel Defense V4M11 LW carbine and thought the same 60 gr load would work in it. No dice . . . best grouping I could get was about two inches at 100 yards. This just won't do the job. But I like the DD since it's about two pounds lighter that the RRA and that makes it much easier to tote in this hill country.

So, I'm looking for another load that will shoot in the DD. Probably with a heavier bullet due to the 1:7 twist as compared to the 1:9 in the RRA.

Any suggestions as to what I should try?
