I just bought a box of 500 50gr Z-maxes for my .223, so I guess I am too. Couldn't pass up the stellar deal, so I guess the zombies (varmints) will have to pay

this applies to both the projectiles and the loaded ammo.

if you can find a bullet with a green zmax tip, they already make the exact same bullet as either a vmax, sst, or amax (just match the caliber and weight to know what you have).

with the loaded ammo, its the exact same ammo, loaded to the same spec as the non-zmax equivalent. (ie: horanady 308 168gr zmax = hornady .308 168gr amax match)


its just a cute marketing gimmick for hornady to sell more ammo. enjoy the slightly lower price and shoot the heck out of it.
