6.5 Creedmoor fur friendly round?

I was hoping hornady vmax was my heaven sent angel for fur friendly rounds but Darkmoon 63 shot the sweet chariot down. If those don't work I doubt any round would, but has anyone ever seen or heard of 6.5 creedmoor fur friendly rounds? I'm willing to chase rumors. I'm in love with 6.5 but I might go with the 243 if this doesn't work out as I've heard better things about it pelt-wise.
Any suggestions for a gun that can kill an elk but consistently won't shoot through a coyote or am I dreaming?

You might have some luck if you hand load and slow them down a fair amount. If you are running full power/velocity loads with that round you are more than likely gonna have pelt damage regardless of what bullet you use. Stout made bullets or fmj's may not tear up much if you can avoid hitting bone, but you might have some runners, too. IF IF IF there were some of the nontoxic powdered core bullets made for the 6.5 I would be inclined to think that maybe they would not exit and keep pelt damage minimal.

You may be best off with an all copper bullet like Barnes. If pelts are a high priority and you hunt coyotes often, I think you are better off with a different cartridge.

Probably this.

Though I did work up a load for a .243 once using obaro's tip - a very mild charge under a 75 grain Vmax. It was actually pretty easy on fur.

A well constructed bullet and stay off bone and you should be fine if you don't mind quarter to 50 cent piece sized holes. I use to use a 338wm with 200gr bullets from time to time. Only had messes when I hit bone.

Maybe I'll just have to buy two more guns guys, too many options for both.
I have an 80% lower for an ar15 and just haven't milled it out yet, maybe I'll give up and just make a nice coyote gun out of that. I guess sometimes its best to specialize rather than have a jack of all trades.

When it comes to fur hunting, you are correct in specializing in a Coyote rifle.
Might I suggest a 204 for Coyotes.
