6.5 Grendel AR

My SD 6.8 spec II loves 110 vmax and 27.5 g. of H332. Dumped this buck last year at just under 200 yards DRT. It was about 240 lbs. pre-dressing.

Top pick for me is the Hornady 120gr SST for hunting punch and for paper targets. (.400 BC) My best loads are:
26.3grs H322 .266" at 100 yards
27.0grs AA2
Both seated at 2.280" with no crimp.

my SD 6.8 loves the Hornady sst 120 s and has shot everything
Else I.'ve put through it without a hiccup . Its my go to deer rifle nowadays
you won't be disappointed .

My limited experience shooting hawgs in the sunshine state was at spitting distance and very fast . a short barrel ar in 6.8spcII should be just the ticket .
BTW nice buck Dustin .
