I don't have any details on the 6dti. I can tell you the 6WOA from Scott can shoot the lighter stuff just fine. I shot 60 Sierra HPs today and it shot like a dream. I didn't measure my last group, but I can tell you I shot the same hole 3 times in a row, so not much to measure. I tried both Benchmark powder and XBR 8208. Both shot well, but the 8028 seemed to be tighter on average across all the loads I tried. Also, it seemed as I pushed 8028, the better the accuracy got, while Benchmark seemed to go the other direction.
My best shooting load for the 60's on the first set of testing was a 8208 load running around 3220. I ran 6 different loads through and they ranged from 3050 to 3300. My best load wasn't the 3300 fps but it was still very good. I believe safely, I can squeeze another 50-75 fps but I want to see if I will be sacrificing any potential accuracy. I wouldn't expect anywhere near this with an 87 grain bullet.
The biggest shock to me was the lack of recoil. I would have to say it was less than my 22-250.
MPFD, I think you will be able to get the 6WOA up to around 2900 fps with a 85-87 grain bullet. This may be pushing it a bit, but just what I think the max is. There was one example included with the dies, that pushed an 87-vmax to 2892. It might not be the best shooting load and it depends on powder. John's recommendation from WOA is start near maximum 6PPC loads and work your way up if you need to. The Hogdon site has lots of great data on the 6PPC and 6BR so make use of the 6PPC data for sure to get some good starting loads.
Also, as far as reloading, I don't know if I ever have found an easier round except for a lack of load data. The dies Scott sent from WOA are a dream. Just run the 6.8 brass through the dies, no fire-forming or anything. This may have been the easiest round I have ever worked with. Everything I shot out of this gun from slower to faster, all shot well, with different powders. I am in heaven. I can't wait to put the crosshairs on a coyote.
