60 and 69 TMK Results

Accuracy of these two bullets out of my 26" 9T Hart-barreled 223 AI has been great. Shot one 3-shot gp. at 300 yds less than an inch with the 60. One 475yd. head shot coyote. Netting 3500 out of the 60 and IMO they're as good as it gets for external and terminal ballistics for coyotes to long range. Shot maybe 30 between the 2 bullets. Some exit wounds, but not unmanageable. Just took one at 350 today in a 20 mph 12:00 wind. Nothing quite like having great confidence in your system and right now this is mine. Any other experiences with them?

Forgot to mention that I use the old VLD magazine with the 69, which has functioned as well as any std. length magazine I've ever used, allowing for an OAL of 2.460". I use std. magazine length with the 60.

Interesting that your 22 Creed is only a little faster than the above mentioned 223AI. I am looking for something fast and flat. I understand that yours could be a conservative load and the AI is hot, and barrel length plays a huge role, I would have expected a larger spread between them.

I am asking from a learning standpoint, I am not trying to get anyone fired up.
It will be interesting to hear how the 60gr work in your creed.

The creed is running 69's @ 3500, the 223ai is running 60's @ 3500. Both of these are probably top end loads depending on each different gun.
 
That 22cm is also a 20" bbl. The 223ai is at 26". Big difference there as well. I have no plans to try the 60tmk in the 22cm. They were purchased for load development in my 16"/8tw AR. Wade Stuteville has a 12tw 22cm and has the 55nbt's at 4,000fps. If you want fast & flat, that would fill your ticket.
 
TJ--not sure what the freebore length is in it. I have it written down but at work now so we'll see later. The barrel was setup to shoot longer bullets in the old VLD magazine so it's long for sure similar to 5.56.
 
Interested to see how the 60 tmk performs vs the 64 tgk. This last weekend I was running the 64 on dogs and it seemed very explosive, hoping the 60 tmk acts a lot more like the 69 tmk in that it doesn't blow up dogs and lays them out 1st shot.

Any comparisons on those 2 60 vs 64
