6mm Creedmoor recommendation?

I’m thinking about putting together a 6mm CM bolt action set up for coyote hunting. Thinking something in the 1:7 to 1:8 twist range. Mostly bench rest shooting from the blind. Opportunities out to 800 yards are possible (shooting over a remote frozen lake). What’s out there off the shelf vs who to talk to for a build? I will likely be putting a ATN Thor 5 LRF 4x32 thermal on it for an optic.
 
Tikka. I shoot a Tikka T3x Super Lite in 243 Win and a friend of mine shoots a 6mm CM in a Tikka T3x. His career was in predator control management on the federal level and he shoots probably 20k rounds per year. He loves the Tikka rifles and the 6mm CM.

I have a Bergara B14 HMR in 6creed. Mine has a 26 inch barrel 1/8 twist and shoots 75, 87 and 105's very well.
I have also used it on deer...great rifle no complaints.
 
My 6CM is a semi custom built on a SA Rem 700 but if I were to go out and buy one it would be a Tikka. It's not often you hear people complain about how their Tikka's shoot. You can certainly spend more but for an off the shelf rifle you'll be hard pressed to get one that shoots better.
 
Okay- a couple of folks have mentioned Tikka. And I'd love to have one in 6mm CM. Do they make one? Or would I need to buy another caliber and have the barrel swapped? Everything I'm seeing seems to be a result of a barrel swap. I'm seeing Ruger Americans both Gen 1 and Gen 2 in 6mm CM, Bergara B14 HMR's in6mm CM, and a few others, but I'm not seeing a Tikka 6mm CM.

I've heard the ATN scopes are good, the customer service not so much. What would you recommend? Looking for something at least 640 with LRF capabilities. The other comparable scopes I was looking at - AGM's - are just a bit outside my price range.
 
I completely agree with half of what you’ve heard, that being the ATN customer service not being so good half. But think of it this way, if ATN scopes were so good, all the people who said ATN customer service is not so good wouldn't need ATN customer service in the first place.

I was going to recommend AGM, Infiray, Nocpix. The ATN Thor5 range finder 4x32 isn’t cheap, I think you could do much better for that same money. Keep researching ATN before you decide.

I just looked on their website and they do not show a 6mm CM being offered any more.

I bought a new Tikka action and barrel, screwed them together and it shoots great . 6 Creed. Bix N Andy trigger, Manners stock, Zeiss Z6. Built one off an older Remington 700 22 250 I had as well. Then I lost interest in em. My 243s are just what I like, probly cause I have so much ammo I guess.
Tikkas are pretty good, they run like a sewing machine and have aftermarket support. The tolerances are such that you can get a barrel already headspaced etc and goes right on, check with go/no go gauges and go shoot. They only have one action length though, so that bothers some guys. Otherwise it’s all good.

A lot of the cs complaints are old. Cs currently is good.
I've been very happy with my atn optics
 
To your point, im building a 6cm based off a savage action with a criterion barrel. Still waiting on the barrel, entitled else is ready, ultradyne chassis, 110 action that has been lapped and bolt lift kit installed, luth ar stock and ergo grip with rifle basics trigger
 
They aren't the easiest to find, but take a look at the CZ 600 Alpha. Very accurate right out of the box. Good trigger. Decent stock. Threaded. Medium/heavy barrel.
