6mm Rem deer loads? maybe nosler...

Yes all have a copper base but the hunting bullets are a bit thicker than the one you have posted. Specifically, the 95gr .243 bullet was specially designed (by some important guy I can't remember his name) with an axtra thick shank to lock the base of the bullet. Go over to 24hr & learn more about it than you want to know.

I may get some slack from this statement... but... the flat base prohunter stays together better than the boattail game king. Try it & see.

I have a very accurate load, for the 100 gr. Sierra GK bullet,
for my 6mm. I developed it for a friend, with a 6mm, that
was happy with Rem. 100 gr. Cor-Lok factory loads, and I
wanted to re-pay him for a bunch of 6mm brass he gave me.
So I have a cup-n-core load that looks good on paper, and I
am sure will perform much like the picture evidence in a
previous post. But my go-to load in the 6mm, for antelope/deer
game sizes is the Barnes Tipped Triple Shock 80 gr. bullet.
Exceptional expansion, weight retention, and hydrostatic
shock evidence. Accurate, and flatter shooting than the
100 gr. bullets, are also positive attributes. Two antelope,
and one northern whitetail, have all been folded like a cheap
tent, on one shot kills. One antelope buck was at 314 yards,
so even hits at some range have impressive results.
