i am looking at building a new coyote gun. i have read alot of good things about the 6x284. how easy are these to keep under control with 75 gr. bullets?
 
Just build an 8# .243... coyotes will never know the difference... you'll probably never know the difference... and it's soooo much easier. I've built two 6/284s... and it just flat ain't worth it.

You want to get a little fancy... go .243 AI... it has advantages over the 6/284... like OAL length latitude... and really doesn't loose anything noteworthy in the velocity dept.
 
Yeah love my 243AI,plus minimal case stretch and the neat lookin cases!!! If one is going to build a rifle and reloads might as well build a wildcat.
