Well I've been thinking about getting a 300 blackout upper. Then I started thinking what if I load 100gr bullets in the 6x45? Just Looking at Hodgdon's load data, it seems a 100gr bullet in the 6x45 will outperform a 110gr bullet in the 300.
The 6mm has about 200 more fps, higher BC (.405 vs .290), and would be better in the wind.
I'm comparing the 6mm 100gr Interlock to the 110gr V-max.
(I also looked at the 6mm 95gr Berger Classic Hunting bullet with a BC of .427)
I think I'll load up some 100's and see how they do.
