6x45 barrel twist ?

I would like to put together a small 6mm for some local club hunting rifle type shoots just out to 100 yards one club may stretch it to 200, I have a few bigger 6's br,243,6mmAI but I'd rather use something smaller less powder barrel wear ect.
I also have a couple thousand pieces of LC 223 brass and a pile of 6mm bullets, I also have a Stiller predator action with a 223 bolt in the safe but the only 6mm barrel I have is a 8 twist heavy Sporter blank, I don't really want to buy any more parts except a trigger for this, so is a 8 twist going to be too fast if there is such a thing I have a big pile of 87gr vmax to shoot up

I don't see the 8 twist being a huge factor against in a 6x45, it will certainly be enough! I have two 6x45 with 10 twist and they shoot up to 90 gr bullets very well. I also don't think you'll be putting too many RPMs to the bullets to cause issue, especially the 87 VMax.

I shoot an 8. In a,6X45 at 500 yard matches. The bullet of choice in it is the 87. They go together like soup and sandwich. Perfectly.

I didn't really think it would be a problem, it's definitely a faster twist than I would have picked if I had ordered the barrel for this, it may even shoot the 105 amax ok

I have a 6x45mm on a Rem 600 and mine is a 1-10 but I never thought about shooting anything heavier the 70gr match bullets, most of the time for hunting it is 55gr NBT's or 55gr Nosler SP's, for targets/matches 70gr Match bullets.

I have a 6x45 I built on a R700 with an 8 twist. I shoot 105gr Amax's exclusively and is arguably one of the funnest rifles to shoot I own. When I first got it, out of curiosity I ran 60, 70, 75 and 85gr in it as well. They all shot very well. Mine is not a hunting rifle though.
