6x45 Case length gauge

I was wondering what everybody on here uses to trim their 6mmx223 cases after a couple firings? Do you just use the standard 223 Case length to trim back to spec or does lee or wilson sell an actual 6mmx223 CLG? Any info and help would be great. Thanks

A 223 gauge should work fine.

I just got a Worlds Finest Trimmer and set it up...I use that as the gauge.

I've never seen a dedicated 6X45 case gauge. I abhor the drop in type anyway and would rather have a caliper set up to do any measuring. Once I set my trimmer up, I use Dillon, Gracey, Lyman and Forster,I'm not seeing much variation that requires more than a spot check occasionally for peace of mind.

Trim them to the 223 spec's and IMO you will never have to trim again....

I trim them to 1.750" on my rcbs trimmer with a the 24cal pilot when they grow.

Call Lee or fill out the on-line form to have a Length Gage made to the trim length you want.
