6x47 Lapua Dies

Quick question...if a person was going to neck down 6.5x47 to brass 6x47, would the Redding bushing die or the Forster FL die be the way to go? I have read a couple things that say the Forster is the way to go because the bushing die may not size far enough down and cause a donut so the necks will need to be turned. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

Dies don't cause donuts. Doing a poor job of neck turning causes donuts.

If you aren't neck turning, you aren't going to have donuts.

If you neck turn properly, you aren't going to have donuts.

Dies got absolutely nothing to do with it. How could they?

If you are calling the unsized portion of the neck nearest the shoulder a donut, you are using the wrong word to describe it. Which is no big deal. But neck turning to remove it is, well... Let's just say it's "not using your head".

There is no neck turning involved with a forester fl die just lube them run em through and stuff some powder and a bullet in them.

The Forester dies work the best... You can use the Bushing dies but will have to do it in a couple steps or you will crush the shoulders!

The Forester dies are great dies, one step in and out and no neck turning.

If you decide to use the Forster FL die make sure the expander ball is adjusted correctly before you start. If it's too high the case necks will get pushed down into the shoulders.
I adjust the die until the new brass chambers with a slight crush fit when I close the bolt.
