for a cheap entry level rifle the 783 aint bad. just not near as refined as the venture.
My venture has a decent trigger, not great but good enough I adjusted it a little and called it good. I prefer the non-accu trigger types without the saftey blade, that said my x7 has an outstanding trigger. Its set about 3.5 lbs and just as clean of a break as I could ask for. It's easily the best trigger I own.
