7mm remington to 7mm Weatherby

I don't think it would work very well, the 7mm rem case is 2.500 in length and the 7mm Weatherby is 2.549. You could fire-form them but the neck is going to be too short.
 
again i agree with Blackhawk43...i fireformed sum 264 win mag in a 270 wby chamber once...it looked great except OAL was shorter than chamber (throat) and i didn't feel comfortable with it...plus measure the belt itself...width can vary from manuf to manuf ...

I know it works great less the shorter neck do size 7mm rem brass to 257wby not sure of the others and the shoulders look much better than I anticipated

I've heard of people doing this, but have not tried it myself. Sure would bring down the price of brass for the 257.
 
Thanks ackley. I'm going to have to give this a try after hunting season. When you say it has a shorter neck, how much are we talking? I take it, that it's nothing to worry about?
