7mm08 Federal Fusion ok for black bear?

After trying several different powders and bullet test loads to include ttsx, partitions and accubonds with inconistent groups, I decided to try 4 different brands of ammo for accuracy. The 140 Fusion grouped the best. I have a black bear license for September. I know on the box it is advertised as a deer bullet but it is bonded. Any reason it wouldn't work on black bear as well?

I'd rather use a 140 grain Nosler Partition in that round for black bear.

That combo will work just fine put the shot where it needs to be and you will be tagging out.Countless animals have and will be taken with regular cup and core bullets. Don't be fooled into thinking you need more. Good luck!

I agree, with the right shot it will work just fine. My last bear was with a factory 150 grn SP in my 284 Winchester.
