I cant find info for this bullet with 8208.. I can find it for 80gr bullets.. I would think because its a little fast for that weight.. I do have h4895 and some varget left.. Anyone use 8208 and 85 grainers out of a 243 and what would one start with if has.. Thank you.. Dan

I am using hybrid 100v with speer 85gn spbt and getting 3460fps with great groups.

I'd highly recommend this powder.

Anyway if you have water capacity, bullet brand and oal that you plan to load to. I'd gladly model it in Quickload for you.

I shoot 85gr Sierra SPBT bullets with 43gr of IMR4350 for 3282fps from a 23" barrel. I might have to try H100V after reading the post above though! My load shoots a ragged hole so I should probably leave it alone, but that's a fast load.

I shot a doe with that load this year at 276yds. The bullet broke a front rib going in and a mid rib on the offside. The hide stopped the bullet from exiting, but barely it looked like. The bullet must have come apart on that second rib pretty good, I pulled pieced of jacket out of the hide but no big bullet fragments. She only went 50yds. That's the first deer with this rifle, but not the first with that bullet. It's the only one I can remember keeping in a deer, but my old rifle was a 20" barrel that pushed it around 3000fps so expansion was likely less dramatic. Plus I hit a lot of bone on this one. It did the job well.

These 2 powders and the 85gr. Gamekings have probably killed more coyotes than any combination i coud think of.

I shot 36.0g of H4895 with a fed 210 with the 85g Sierra bThp, very, very accurate!

I also shot a few deer with the HV100, but can not put my hand on the load data at this point.

85g Speer BTSP and 85g Barnes worked well on deer also, I shot Win brass, win primer, 44.5g of R#19 at 3400+, with 1/2" groups....work up to this load in your rifle.

8208 maybe too fast with HV100 and R#19 adding about 300 fps to the load with accuracy.

Best wishes and good luck
