8mm mauser

200 should work dont know about the powder, if i were to guess I'd look to the older powder like imr 4064 or h380, and maybe varget. A guy at the range where I shoot uses tac and 150.

I would think a reular 170 gr bullet would also work for 8mm mauser ...... some companies have made bullets geared to 8mm remington magnum that don't expand quite as well at 8mm Mauser speeds..... I do not know if the 200 accubond is one of those bullets but it might bear a little more research....

I bought an 8mm Mauser for my first hunting rifle when I was 14 in 1963. I think I paid $17.00 for it. I sporterized it, and started reloading for it in 1966. I loaded 170 grn. Speer bullets with a CCI large rifle primer under 45 grains of BLC-2 powder. With that load, I killed my first black tail, my first hog and my first bear. The 8mm is a great round. I wish I still owned that old rifle.
