Correct, white and gray for the side that's being used. The bars on the left are external and the bars on the right are internal? Looks like they went from green to white with that scope if it is.
Focusing the screen is the same, the ocular mag works fine, but it blows up the reticle also. So if it covers the coyote at base, it still covers it zoomed in. I use a combo usually but I'm still getting used to it. When I was playing with the ballistics on targets I noticed that to be consistent it needed to be on the same digital zoom. I'm guessing that the lower your digital zoom, the more refined your aiming solution will be due to smaller pixel size in relation to the reticle. But I would like more clarification on that from someone who knows for sure. How does the optical mag and focus work for you? About the same as day scope?
Sorry I missed this post. I do not use it, for 2 reasons. 1, the digital zoom only zooms the pip when it's engaged. And 2, ocular zoom takes it partly out of the picture. So it's basically useless in this model imo.Do you use the picture-in-picture or does it just not show on the video?
Your welcome. Yeah I'll be curious to see how long the internal lasts long term. In the short term it's awesome having a dual battery system. Hot swaps are easy between stands or during a stand if it's a boring one lol. The 18650 was on for probably 2.5 hrs at least at this point had just gone dead iirc. As you can see in the first video it's still full, or shows full. This was probably 30 minutes into the night. I'm sure the rangefinder sucks quite a bit of power so I try to be aware of that.Good real world review, thanks. Was considering the H50 - no use for the LRF for me. Still don't like the idea of internal battery.
Mark, I believe for most people it’s the fact that the internal batteries won’t last forever, and you can’t change them. There’s only so many charge cycles in them before they are depleted. After that, they become added dead weight in a device that needs to be powered by an external power source via USB cable, or in this case, the secondary replaceable battery. Not understanding the hate of the internal battery?
