A Couple of Videos

First up is a double from last Thursday night and a single bonus.



Second up is my video from last night. This was a hunt that went upside down. I dropped my rifle hard getting everything loaded. I was very concerned about how it had impacted mor POA. I didn't have time to resight so I hoped for the best and went anyway. Called in this female on a string and let her get as close as possible to minimize any error from the drop. As it was, I think I pulled left at the shot and broke her shoulder instead of center punching her. I ended up shooting 5 more times trying to put her humanely down and ended up blowing the top of her head off. It wasn't pretty, but I did the best I could to get a heavily edited video and picture from a less gruesome angle.

You certainly put ‘em down in the first video. Have you checked zero yet after the drop? Just curious if the sight was compromised by the fall.

We all strive for a clean, quick kill, sometimes it just isn't in the cards, unfortunately.

AR's are pretty handy for mop up duty.
