Good looking pups. Looks like life is pretty easy in the Vargy home. That is while they're not hunting. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good looking pup. I missed it about your other pup. Too bad. Keep the pictures and stories coming. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

She's a cutey, long legged girl.

Dad, would put a short pigwire fence inside of the run area. To get the pups trained on jumping the tall ones, later on down the road.

kirby before i lost wendy.
I had her fencing very well. she would clear a fence like nothihng and she was only 8 months old. last week when i went to ok and picked up emma, I was shocked on seeing what the stags had to go under out there. that bottom wire was a foot off the ground. Those stags go under that wire at full speed. I will get my 2 stags going over the wire at full speed!!

She have some Wolfhound or Deerhound in her bloodline? Looks to have some bristle on her muzzle /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif.

All of our sighthounds, would sail over the tall barbed fence's. Had a male catch the top wire once, not good. First coyote I ever seen clear a barbed fence, flat-out. Was an unbelievable site to see, for such a small animal.

kirby they are stag hounds. They have been around a long time. I think they were crossed with a irish deer hound and a grey hound. The deer hound is pose to make them a little tuffer and still keep the speed of a grey hound.
My buddie from southern ILL where libby came from has roaded his on the 4 wheeler and clocked them at 45 mph
Buddie thats getting right with the program!! LOL
I have to get them to fence woven wire very well before i can use them here. The way little wendy was fenceing here before she got killed , I really think she would do fine here!!
They are very smart hounds!!

Yah, 10-4 Vargy. Scottish Deerhound & Greyhound, hybrids tend to have some Blue colors in their pups. Irish Wolfhound & Greyhound pups, tend to have Tan colors.
She's a pretty pup for sure. Reminds me of my 1st dog. A staghound, as well. Good luck, with her.

Woven wire, I always called that pig wire /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
