I had a buddy from Maine up for a week. We had hogs on camera at 8pm las evening. We had to go 5 miles and sneak in. He killed a nice dry sow at 8:22. By 9:28 we had it all boned out and in the cooler. He flew back at 8am this morning with the hog meat in a suitcase

his wife met him at the airport with a cooler and ice. Thats 37 i have killed or taken buddies in to kill them. And probably 12+ missed or lost. I have eaten a pile of them and they are great. In this area at least. Oddly the toughest one I shot was 40 lbs or so, good flavor but chewy so I ran him through the grinder and made sweet onion and garlic sausage. It was excellent.
I have made 50+ lbs of jalapeño and cheddar summer sausage in the last month. Everyone that tried it said it was the best they have had. I only have 3 2 lb packs left.
