Controversial I know, but I feed year round. I have a son that works in the peanut industry and provides me with a steady supply of peanuts all year long. I have a couple spots I’ve been feeding for years. These are also my “hog spots” but the deer tend to benefit the most seeing how the hogs don’t make it long when they show up.

Does seem to really enjoy the extra protein and the fawns take their share as well.

These are the first “decent” bucks I’ve gotten so far. They don’t quite look like shooters yet, but that one definitely has potential.

The partial piebald showed up on another camera. These other cameras are with 150yds from the bait site and he’s been on 2 of them, but not the peanuts.
If anyone wonders what a 3yr old looks like…this is it. Hoping I still get his pics at 6yr old!
