A great GSP, chukars, and utah hunters.

I was wondering how many of you bird hunters are from utah out there. I have a dang good German Shorthair pointer and know where a lot of wild chukars, and does anyone else here like to hunt them?? Just tryin to get to know some stuff!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
 
i hunt chukars here in idaho. i have a lab and a shorthair. i have good knees so if you need a hunting partner let me know. i hunt birds(pheasants, chukars, etc) a lot and can go anytime. bobby
 
"no account spuds" have really layed into the chukars this year. Really had a great hatch and we've been hunting central idaho mostly. Lots of birds if you put in the sweat required to reach them. I use a lab but my next dog is going to be a GSP.

He is a ticked shorthair, mostly brown, funny thing is, he has a butt shaped spot on his butt!! He is nearly 2, and i havent hunted him much, but hes done great. I take on walks and stuff alot though. His name is Jeter. 'bout yours?? You have some other cool trophies there too!!!!ill see if i can figure out the pic thing!! How do ya do it??

Hey Utahpredator

I live closer so next year get you and your dad and we will go after some chuckers. But I will have to bring along my brittanys. I have 4 of them. Don't worry they rock
 
You are the guy from ephraim right, foxbuster? We have an absolute honey hole!! We saw 70 chukars, a ton of rabbits, many deer(some good bucks) as well as called in a yote!! I love that spot!!
