GetFoxy text me today and said he found a 5mm Rem RM. I said, wow! Really!? How much? $279! I said, put it in layaway. I don't know why I like this round so much, it just has cool factor!! Anyways, I can't wait to get my hands on er!

Remington 591 in 5mm Rem RM!

I have been looking for one as well. I want a tube fed one. I think they are a cool little rifle and I wish someone would start makin one again.

For no sensible reason what-so-ever, I would love to have one as well. A friend of a friend asked me to zero his rifle and it definitely has a certain appeal. He also asked to find him a spare magazine and all I can say is "brother, don't ever lose that mag!".
 
I’m pretty stoked. And when he told me the price, I couldn't say no. I've seen them online for well over that price! And I have found ammo readily available and not ridiculously expensive. I will certainly keep a good eye on the mag. My buddy lost his 788 mag once. He paid as much for that as the rifle’s original purchase price! (And of course, now they are making them again!!)
 
I'm just saying, it's so outdated and obsolete it's just screaming for me to plug some woodchucks with it.

Im rather excited. When Gary told me about it, I just had to jump. And then I really started to research the round and I am amazed by it. Very cool deal, here.

Or, a nice old Bushnell ScopeChief. I have one on a 788 in 222 Rem. Looks good on it. I may have one to sell if you want one.
