A VERY VERY NICE Remington 11-87 Sporting Clays

Even Remington breaks down and gives you a pretty one once in a while. I snagged this one here in South Dakota and gave it to my youngest daughter about 5 years ago. She proceeded to win the Lady's High Gun at a local club in Spokane for the winter league. You have to shoot 1 round of 16 yard trap, 1 handicap round, and 1 doubles round every Sunday, from November through March. High total targets wins the trophy and your name on the big clubhouse plaque. We had to shovel 2 feet of snow on the trap fields before we could shoot some days. I admired her determination to go every week in some nasty weather.

Around this area, if it's not a 3 inch or longer chamber, they don't sell that good. For $550, I couldn't go home without it.

Congrats on that grab! That is one of those "once in a lifetime" finds. I'm not much into shotguns per se (only own one Mossberg 500 tactical assault shotgun), but have always felt that Remington has historically built some of the nicest looking and best functioning shotguns ever produced. That weapon is simply a thing of beauty and I admire both the looks and worksmanship of the weapon. I certainly hope that LUCKY young lady of your's realizes how fortunate she is! Good luck and have fun with her. And please remember to treat her with the care she deserves.

Beautiful wood! I'll bet your daughter was proud to shoulder that on the line each week. Congrat's to her for her good shooting... and to YOU for being the dad that you obviously are!

That stock is MAGNIFICENT..WOW!!
Kudos to your daughter for shooting it so well.

Nice to see father daughter shooting together. Son won couple of state sporting clays championships and lots of tourneys when we shot together in 90's. Never could beat him. Sure do miss shooting together. You have to go to work some time..Enjoy because she may find out what boys are.

It's WAY too late to warn me about the boys. I have 4 daughters and she just got married about 8 months ago.
