Acceptable POI shift with thermal

Curious,
For those of you using thermal how much POI shift do you see when you check your zero? I checked my unit today (XQ50) and I saw a 1 inch shift in windage at 100 yards. Is this acceptable given temperature changes day to day? Do brands other than Pulsar see any change what so ever. Thanks.

Trijicon IR Hunter MK3 60mm - no poi shift ever.
Bering optics super Hogster - no poi shift ever.
Bering optics Hogster-r 35mm - no poi shift ever.
Pulsar Apex XQ50 - no poi shift ever.

For me, any poi shift would be unacceptable no matter how small.

None, I won't own a scope I can't trust, plain and simple. If I had one that would not hold zero it would be sent back.

Is that a trail or thermion xq50? I have had nothing but trouble and frustration with the trails.

Shooting at a small handwarmer folded in half poi may drift the width and or height of it in a 30 degree temp swing at 100 it yards. That probably is around an inch. Scope is a Trail xp 50. I try to find that middle ground so it's never more than .5" or .75" off at worst. First two I had shifted 3 or 4 inches.
