My savage 93 is a real tack driver.. It also loves the 30 grain CCI vmax rounds as well. This rifle will rival any 22 long rifle I've ever owned.. I have owned several different magnums and none shot as well as this one.

I've yet to see that in the hundreds of rifles I've fired over the years. I'm talking Anschutz, Cooper, and some other very nice rifles.
When I hit 1" at 100 yards with a 22 mag, I feel it's a darn accurate WMR. On calm days, I've seen good 22LR's shoot 1/2" to 3/4". But as I said before, the net is full of super accurate rifles
I like my Savage 93 heavy barrel 22mag a lot, never really spent much time at the bench with it, but squirrels and rabbits don't like it very much. I would never claim it shoots as well as my 22lr's though, of course I once shot a dime-sized group with the sun directly overhead, both eyes closed, and one hand tied behind my back on the second Tuesday in June, pretty sure I could do it again...
i know 6mm-06 killed one or more. i know been plenty of coyotes been killed with 22lr, 22mag, 17hmr. i have killed them with all 3 and others. i dont know marco ever killed a coyote. at all, with anything. he is all talk.
I managed to kill a coyote once, yep, I stood here in Australia shot it up in the air and landed on a coyotes head in the USA, no [beeep]! Back to the topic, is the 17hmr, or the 22wmr worth the extra money, I'm still torn between the 22mag and 22lr, on one side I love how cheap and reliable 22lr is, but on the other if its the only rifle ill be carrying at the time is the extra power worth it?

If you are satisfied with the 22LR then you're fine. If you are shooting anything larger than a tree squirrel, you need to step up to the 22WMR. The 17HMR is undoubtedly the most accurate of the bunch, but it lacks killing power. If I had to pick only 1 rimfire cartridge it would be the more versatile 22WMR.
