Accurate 1680 and .44 Rem Mag

I picked up my first lever-action rifle yesterday. It is chambered in .44 Rem Mag. It's a Henry Big Boy with the 20" barrel.

I have never loaded for this cartridge before and was hoping to get input on whether others have used Accurate 1680? The description of this powder states it is great for high performance handgun calibers such as 454 casul, 460 S&W etc...but the data does not list .44 Rem Mag, from what I saw. I really want this powder to work because it is a very good powder for 300 Blackout, which I just built and would like to use 1 powder for both cartridges.

I gave them a call today and confirmed what you state 6724. They have a new powder coming out this spring/summer that would cross over well, according to them, but at this point nothing. I will just buy 2 different powders.

Thanks for the update. I'm so old school I still just reach for 296, H110 and 2400.

I run h110 and 2400 in my 44mag. I was given the same rifle for my retirement. I"m shooting 240 grain xtp's with h110. I was walking a bowling pin around at about 70 yards off of my truck hood right out of the box with it.
Maybe someday Illinois will let us use pistol cartridges in rifles for deer season.
