ried H 4350 but now it's getting scarce. I've got 2 pounds of Accurate 4350 and was wondering if anyone is having success with it in .22-250?
H4350 / AA4350 right below that on the burn rate chart is
Win 6.5 Staball, so a slower powder than AA4350 which is slower than H4350. While the Load data shows the WLR I would use a magnum primer in the load development, I like CCI-450, but use what you like I'm sure WLR will work. I "think" the CCI Magnum burns cleaner as in better ignition across the board and the cups are a bit stiffer than a "standard".
Just my 2 cents on the primer I simply get better performance with my rifle. But I don't have a 22-250.
So YMMV
Another choice is Win Staball Match slightly slower than Win 748, and Varget , IMR4064

Ramshot Big Game "should" be close to your H-380 load ( just a hair slower)??? or at least according to the charts for burn rate (the data above is from Hodgeon's web site for your cartridge)
BURN RATE CHART vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

I'm in hopes all this help you brother Soup in selecting an appropriate powder. I personally like the Staball (6.5 and Match I have not tried the HD ) line up in the CM sized cases and the 6mm Ackley cases. The "best" maybe Ramshot Big Game although TAC which I have used in .223 works good in that application too, but maybe little fast for the Savage 250 case IDK.
Now I've got Zero experience with AA 4350 in the 22-250. Would it work It SHOULD...
but... I did try it (AA 4350) in a 6.5CM as a substitute for that cartridge for H4350. Work fair to good. Not exactly where I wanted. Then I tried Win 6.5 Staball locally little less than H4350 in cost here. And it worked very well, then even tried it in the 6mm CM again success. Will it work for you IDK.
I would try what you have on hand (AA 4350) if it doesn't perform for you maybe look at some that I posted If they are available they MAY work for you.
