Can you fellas give me your opinion on the most accurate powders for:
.223
.243
.308
I'd really appreciate it. My uncle and I are planning on doing some reloading and we would like this info if you have it.
Many thanks!

I load with BLC2 and Win748 in both my 223 and my 308. I have NO complaints about ether! The BLC2 burns a little cleaner... both have almost the same burn ratio. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

H-335 for the 223. Varget seemed a little slow for that caliber. To get the same velocities as the 335, I had to use compressed loads with Varget.

Haven't done any of the other calibers.

Isecond this notion I use H 335 and it is a maracle load you can also use it for the .308. I would imagine it would be fine for the .243 also but I have no experience in this caliber so I am unsure.

In .223 I use mostly BL-C(2) 26.0 Gr. with a 50 Gr V-MAX but in the AA family I've had very good results with AA 2015 at 24.0 Gr. and the same bullet. The 2015 is cleaner burning in my opinion.

These work well for me.
.223- imr 4198, 4895 AA 2230
.243- imr 4064, 4350
.308- Don't have one but try what works in your .243 for a start.

H335 is a good one, Varget works fine, it's just a pain to deal with since it's an extruded powder, AA2230 and AA2460 are both good powders, I've worked quite a bit with Accurate Arms powders and really like them.

BLC2 can be a problem, In Glen Zediker's Book "The Combetitive AR-15" he talks about powders, Zediker says that BLC2 is extremely sensitive to temperature, to be more specific he says: "BLC2 gets spooky under the sun", that's really not a powder I would want to fool with.

223 - Reloader 7 26.0 grains 40 Nosler BT (3990 FPS) (this charge is above listed maximums work up from 24 grains slowly)

243 - IMR3031 41.0 grains 55 Nosler BT (3827 fps)

Hodgdon Benchmark and XMR2015 can't go wrong with either in .223. Easy flowing and clean burning, not to mention accurate to boot.

I've got an expensive match barrel in my .223 and therefore shoot the cooler H335. A 55 gr Berger with 25 grs of H335 in a 24 inch 1 in 9 shoots 0.28" groups. However, after much testing my .308 likes Varget which runs hot but not an issue for this little shot barrel.
