Are there any other quality AGBs with front detent/click adjustments besides Odin Works, Superlative Arms, Syrac, and SLR? I keep trying to order the Odin Works from Primary Arms when they go on sale for around $60, but they sell out quick. Otherwise everything is in the $85-$115 range. Just looking for more options so I can finish my .223 build.

I've had one on backorder from Superlative Arms for over 2 months. "Soon" he keeps saying... I'm about ready to cancel and get something else.

I had an over gassed AR upper spent the$ got the SLR from joebobs solved my problem. Quality top of the line prouduct, if I needed another adjustable gas block I wouldn't hesitate to order another SLR from Joebobs!just my real-world one time experience for what it is worth.

I have 4 of the SLR adjustable blocks as well as several of their KeyMod Handguards. Quality products indeed!

I also have 5 SLR rifleworks adjustable gas blocks and have been very happy. Had an issue once and emailed them at 10pm on a Saturday and the owner called me him self within 30 minutes and made it right great guy and company.

The reviews/opinions on the Superlative Arms "bleed off" gas block are very back and forth. It sounds great, but I'm not sure it works as well as advertised. Syrac (used to be) and SLR are the best and probably worth the money. I just know Odin Works machines quality products and was willing to try it for almost half the price, but may just cough up the money for and SLR and be done. I've heard good stories about their customer service also. I'm coming around to the "buy once, cry once" motto. Those of you with SLR gas blocks, did you go with set screw or clamp-on?

My upper has a bull barrel was not set up for set screw, which does not have any thing to do with bull barrel just thought I'd mention it.so I got the clamp on version, have not had a problem.

The Superlative Arms adj block can be used as a regular adj gas block OR a bleed off adj gas block. You get to choose. Don't like the bleed off feature? Turn the bleed off feature off by turning the screw in the other direction.

Superlative Arms just sent a shipping notice so I guess they're in stock now.

Clamp on gets my vote.

I am running superlative GB as you have the best of 2 worlds. If you run this gas block don't just run the adjustment to regulate gas flow only the adjustment screw will seize up fast. You want to run as per the directions and continue opening the adjustments until your bolt wont hold open on the last round. Then as per instructions turn adjuster 2 detent clicks in and repeat until bolt holds open. What happens is you are really then letting the rifle use what gas it needs to run the bolt and whats not needed is then vented out of a port on the gas block forward. This gas block when adjusted correctly really surpress the violent bolt reaction considerably but it also reduces recoil a lot! There is no significant change in velocity as I have compared my data over and over. Its a pretty brilliant thinking by somebody! The other thing is if your not concerned about recoil reducing at the optimum you can tune your rifle to eject at the proper place.I have mine adjusted at max recoil reduction and my brass ejects at 4:00.If you wanted say 2:30 ejection just turn adjuster in a click at a time until you like were your brass is hitting.Another benefit is it is easy on your brass. I have severall rounds thru it now and no seized adjuster screw and no cleaning of gas block.Another thing is your bolt don't get near as dirty do to the limited gas your using to operate the system. If you purchase this unit you should use it to its full advantage.I have since ordered another and will be installing it on my M&P 10 witch is way over gased recoiling heavy and ripping the lips of my nice Lapua brass I know this gas block is gonna tame the big smith down!

I had trouble adjusting my Superlative Arms adj gas block. It would not fail to lock back on an empty mag (vent mode) no matter how much I adjusted the screw per the directions. I called and spoke to the owner, he said several people had called about the same issue, but it's fine as long as the brass ejects around 3-4 o'clock. He said the directions need to be re-written. (Silly me for following the directions)

I was a little skeptical at first but it works great and does shoot soft. I'd buy another.
