Kitfox, thanks. That is exactly what they were.I saw a large elephant earlier today and tons of wildebeest, while it was daytime there.later.

I finally saw my first predator on the cam, it was a Jackal. I've been hoping to see some Lions, or at least a Leopard.

i can not get my son to stop looking!! we have seen 3 hyenas and some jackals, 2 impalas so far man i am addicted not thnaks. any one know when the webcams annonymos meeting is?

I think there's about a 9 hr difference in time, its 4:30pm here in Phoenix and it says its 1:30am there. Most of the animals I see are in the morning and evening time. Here is a list of some of the animals I have seen at different times, elephant, giraffe, cape buffalo, wildebeest, warthog, baboons, storks, jackal, zebra,a bird that looked like an eagle with a sharp beak?,Of all those the baboons were by far the funniest ones to watch. They were constantly picking something off the ground and eating it,I don't know if it was ants or bugs or what, but they were munching down. Some of the night shoots is a lot of nothing. This sure makes you want to go over there though.take care, daveyboy

There's a bunch of baboons hanging out right now.Pretty cool /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif.later,daveyboy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

I have checked in here a couple of times and saw nothing.
Today I hit the jackpot.
Two LIONS taking a drink.
WAY COOL

I'm glad i'm not the only person who listened to crickets for over an hour. The Lions were a first for me. Apparently, I missed one earlier in the night. I left my computer, and 2 minutes later, a co-worker saw a lion walk past the pond.

All we need now is a Coyote Cam

I just saw a guy sitting on the hood with a light shining some lions and they pull up beside this big male lion and then the guy turns the light away from him. They must know what they are doing,or we are about to see something very interesting /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.take care, daveyboy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

Clicked on it and saw a hyena almost immediately. I thought "how cool is that?" and then I thought "hmmm, hyenas are predators too aren't they?". Great site.
