Aftermarket buffers

Would like to get some ideas on a buffer for my socom. When the rifle was new, it took less than a box of shells to go from a tight upper/lower fit to a "broke in" loose fit. RRA says that its just because the .458 has more recoil than the .223. Im thinking that I could possibly buy an aftermarket buffer to relieve some of the pounding on the pins and make it a little more shooter friendly at the same time. (not that its bad now but what the hey?) Anyone have suggestions on buffers they've used? would it be worth the time money and effort? Thanks in advance.

Go to www.sturmgewehr.com, and look at the Parts and Accessories board. Send 'Slash' a message and ask him about buffers. He makes custom buffers, and he can probably provide you with a lot of knowledge on what works and what doesn't.

Buffers/buffer springs are cheap upgrade the spring and buy a couple buffers and try them out, another option is a heavier carrier also to slow things down.

I've been testing a new buffer for Black Hole that is significant in recoil and muzzle flip reduction. They should be out in the market very shortly. I know of one LEO groups that already has an order in for 100+ of the units.

They will be available in rifle and carbine length.

I Have one in my 450 Bushmaster. It is a A2 rifle. Does a nice job. I just bought an Enidine for my shotgun. Takes the kick out of my 12ga.
