Aftermarket stocks CZ527?

I know there didn't used to be many, if any options for an aftermarket stock for a CZ527 American (standard barrel, not varmint). I haven't searched real hard here lately but I am still not seeing much. Looks like Boyds has that inlet option for theirs. Laminate is heavy though. I was really hoping for a lightweight composite. Anything new out there you guys know about?

Looks like B&C has one for the Varmint contour barrel that might be OK. How heavy is the varmint contour barrel compared to the sporter, how much gap would it leave? I don't mind some extra free float, as long as it isn't a huge gap that looks bad.

I bought a 221 fireball a couple of years ago when whittakers had them. I also have a 17 rem cz 527 varmint in a hs precision stock that was at my brothers in Texas for the last couple years. Well, when I finally got it back. I was surprised when the 221 American went right in even though it wasn't supposed to fit from what I was reading. So if you got a whittakers 221 fb your stock options may improve.

My Boyd stock fitted like a glove. Mine was about $220. My CZ was a treaded 527 300 BO

I am still trying to decide what I want to do. The old 1-12 twist 223 barrel on mine was shot out. Last week I swapped it out for a new factory takeoff 1-9 twist 223 I have had laying on the shelf for the last few years. Took it out and shot it, and holy cow that new barrel looks like it is going to be a shooter. The way it is stacking them right now I am nearly scared to touch anything.

You can always order another stock off the CZ website. I recently purchased a .222 Remington, but the stock was really plain. I bought one off their site and received a really nice one.

HS stock is pretty nice. The gap is a little big around the standard barrel, but I was able to live it. I wish I still had that rifle...

Boyd's is a good option for a stock. You can get a basic laminate for $150ish or go crazy and get AAA walnut. I ordered a maple stock for my 788, then spent a little more for checkering. Cost was just shy of $300 but man it looks good and it was 100% drop in fit. If you want to stay with wood, I would give Boyd's a look.
