Agm thermals.....how do they stack up?

I get guys that ask me about AGM and I never know what to tell them. How do these compare to the other big names? Appears they offer units that resemble a thermion and some that resemble the super yoter and hogster.

I was wondering the same. Had a friend who was a dealer, he dropped them because the support was poor. I've read a more recent good experience reported by a user.

What kept me from going with them was the minimum operating temperature of -4°F. I emailed them and asked if it could operate at lower temps and they said they did not know. Wish it didn't get that cold here but it does often!

Might take a look at Iray. I have a Rico 384 that has a better image than any I have looked through.
I sighted it in 4/15/21 poi has never moved,I like it because of 4x native mag. My buddies super yoter is in shop he never got to hunt with it yet. That being said we both have r35 hogsters no problems, that are 3 years old. Skinney has videos with the 640 Rico.

When he got it, put it on he did not even have to sight it in. It was dead center at 100 yards. Alright I got it made. Not so fast gone hunting turned on screen looked like black & white tv, with all the lines going across it. Who knows about poi shift.

What thermal did you end up going with?

So far I like my Rattler TS25 very well. Have had it for a couple months with three coyotes to its credit. It is holding zero, haven’t had to touch adjustments since I first sighted it. However, since I hunt over bait and from a heated shack, that may not be a fair assessment since changing temps are what generally gets thermal. The scope is small, which I like and will double as a scanner too, and it has a good image. Controls are a bit different from my Pulsar Apex XQ38, but most scopes have some differences from another. Time will tell how well it holds up. Phone conversations with customer service have all been positive. I phoned to inquire about overall operation, not due to any problems, and to also make recommendations for improvement.

I bought one before Christmas and was using it as a scanner. Blows my Flir PS 32 away. Put it on my AR over the weekend and killed a fox Tue. night. Not too bad to sight in.

Anyone recommend a reputable dealer? I have struggled trying for get someone on the phone from AGM or their main dealer to answer questions. Makes me a bit wary as to their customer service if I can't get few questions answered before I purchase.

I'll have some second hand info to share soon, as my hunting buddy has finally conceded that his Rattler 35 doesn't hold zero. I kind of figured that all season as he's missed a lot of gimme's. After building a new really accurate 6mm Arc, and then blaming the short ADM mount and installing the double-lever version, he's done everything he can do and still it's not staying.

Not super cold, down to 20 maybe. Last night was maybe 35 when he checked it and the last two shots were 11" apart. The rifle shot 3/4" group from the tripod this morning with his day scope.
