I worried about the battery life more before I found that my EOTech would still run a full day after it gave the "low battery" warning.
Maybe lots more than a day, I changed the batteries that night before it failed to illuminate.
So for hunting, I doubt that's going to ever leave you high and dry without an optic.

Yeah, you're pretty far out of the realm of "cheap junk" when you're decideing between these two.
Either one is going to be outstanding, I picked the EOTech just for the smaller dot. I'd wouldn't throw an Aimpoint away if you gave me one.
