I was wanting some information on airguns.
I have a gamo shadow 1000, but its nothing like the pcp's, or any of the other high powerd ones,

What is a decent air rifle i can get for under 400$
what are you guys shooting?
I was thinkin maybe a .22cal

If im spending $400 on a gun it better be burning powder and have velicties over 2000 fps. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

On the other hand, one of those 30 cal air guns with a silencer just might be the ticket for urban coyotes.
 
I have a Beeman R1 in 20 caliber, shoots great and the 20 cal hits hard but still shoots flat. It loves to make holes in rats!!!
 
I had a Beeman Crow Magnum in .20, it was a good shooter. The cocking force was pretty high. I sold it and got a PCP in .20, it performs even better. The .20 is my favorite.

I think you'd be pleasantly surprised what a 9mm or .45 cal air gun can do, and how quiet it is.

there is someone in the Vegas area who has a nice selection of hunting air rifles, and goes out on coyote hunts near vegas.
