Albino Coyote?

Hi guys. This is my first post on this site, but from what I've seen it looks great. I've got a question for some of the old dog hunters out there. Well for anyone I suppose. I was out scouting muley's this afternoon and I saw a white coyote come running out with a doe herd across the coulee. I didn't have my gun so I just watched him trot away. I figured I'd just as well grab a gun and come back out to see if I could get a poke at him. I found him a few draws over and managed to get him with my 22-250. My question is how rare are these critters? I gave the coyote to my buddy who is a taxidermist to do a body mount. I told him he could keep it so long as he didnt sell it. Anyways I got a few pictures if anyone is interested. Thanks. Kevin.

The eyes don't look pink in the pics so it may not be an albino but who cares. Dang that's cool!

Seems to me like the guy last year who shot one in E. Colorado got $3,000 for it. Is that right?
Do you gut remember what it auctioned off for?

Looks like it has a pink nose and pink lips to me, can't see it's paws but I don't think I need to. Weasel-UT, you see blue eyes?

You can see blue eyes in the middle picture. I wasn't sure if an albino animal could have colored eyes or not so I did a search. Apparently they can.

His eyes were all white except for a really pale green in the middle right after I shot him. They kind of took on a pale blue after a few hours. I don't regret giving it to my buddy. He's a close friend, and he appreciates it as much as anyone. It will make for a nice piece in his show room. I told him if he wanted to sell it we'd split it, but he said he'd never do that. Plus maybe it will help drum up a bit more business for him. I can take some more pictures if anyone wants to see any parts I didn't catch. (I didn't look but my girlfriend said his arsehole was the same color as his nose). I didn't even bother checking his paws, but I will.
