Albino pheasants

I saw one about 10 years ago, my relative shot it and when we got back to the truck it was still flopping around so he stepped on it's head and ripped it off. I think he should have stuffed it.
Anyway, I was wondering how rare these birds are? Anyone else seen one?
 
I shot one last year that was a half albino. Real pretty bird. After the wing elbows it was pure white on both sides. The rest of the bird had normal coloring with white speckles all through it. Oh yeah, the tail feathers were also white. I had it mounted and it is the first thing you see as you walk into my house.

fall of 2002 myself and my hunting buddy that I work with went to Reliance South Dakota on a phesant hunt. He shot one that was a nice mix. Mostly white, but had some brown markings in it. I have a pic if anyone would like to see it or help me post it here. I always have trouble trying to post pics. I'm sure its my ignorance.
