Alice in Chains

I enjoyed the video.
Outdoor concerts have been some of my most memorable...last one outdoors was Lynyrd Skynyrd (sp?) in about `92-`93 maybe. My brother bought us tickets for around my birthday in July....I dont think I have ever seen so many attractive girls in Summer Dress in all my life.

Lol. I love outdoor shows. We have xfest here. In september 5-10 bands (mainstream) come to huntington,WV and play from 1 until midnight. I go every year. Nothing like standing all day in 75-80 degree weather and listening to metal all day. Love It!

Ps I have seen skynrd to. I usually dont get into country/southern rock but it was a good show. And idk who in skynyrd plays that gibson explorer but he can play it.

I havent heard their new stuff but like their older music with Layne.

I actually ran into Jerry and Mike backstage in Chicago back in 91 or 92 I think it was, at a Gwar show on Halloween.

It ended in an altercation with a drunken Jerry. That guy's a jerk.

Mike was a cool guy though and I was saddened to hear of his terrible drug addiction and followed his appearence on celebrity rehab.

Most of my oldest friends are in bands

It was a great show and almost stopped from fire marshall for chicago because of over house capacity. Crazy show that night!

About Jerry. He is, or was at that time, Levi.

Laynes death has eaten Mike to his core and fuels his addiction.

I wish him the best wherever he is.

Here's my fav from them.

Gwar! Lmao

Yea wolf would is a good one, so is angry chair, rooster, nutshell, and man in the box.

Just an all around good band. Jerry may be an a-1 you know what but I love his style of playing.

He IS a very good player. His personality (at that time anyways) sucks though.

I don't know what they were doing there? They did not open that night, but, may have been in town for their own show at another venue?

I never met Layne and have never seen AIC play.

I've seen them live and Duvall isnt even close live. The new songs are good but hes not even close on the old Layne.I use to have the greatest hits unplugged on just about every day at work.Dont listen to the new one that much its ok though.

lol...used to listen to them when i was runnin my dozer...had headphones under the ear muffs...pushed some dirt when man in the box ...and the rooster..came on for certain

AIC is some good stuff. Can even appreciate some of the newer stuff. My Skynyrd experiance wasn't as good. One of the guys in the front playing guitar was so drunk he had wet his pants and eventually just was standing there wobbling back and forth.

I agree, can You imagine how hard that was. Layne was one of a kind.

I actually met them as well, and have to agree Cantrell is a real JERK!

I got backstage during the lolapalooza tour in 92 or 93, cant recall, but Michael Inez was just a super nice guy took me around and got me more autographs drumsticks and other crap than I could carry out LOL.

I also agree Would is there best song.

Can never replace Layne but gotta do what ya gotta do.
