Had a great weekend and got 3 males all around 40-42 pounds on the ground, and a beautiful all black female. She was a lot littler but who cares when she was the beautiful. Two were shot in front of the hounds and the other two wounded bayed then finished. Two males and the female were taken on Saturday and a single male on Sunday. Two cut up dogs but they should be fine after some rest and blue kote.

Sure looks like you had a good time.
Those are some dark dogs you got out there. It would be cool to see some black ones out here. Seems like there are more and more showing up with the black color phase in the east.

In four years of hunting with lots of different groups and seeing a ton of dogs killed this is the first black one I have ever seen. Lots of red ones or blonde ones but this was the first black one. Especially having the white patch on its chest. I have heard there are a bunch in the texas area.

congrats bull...

hunted a black one down here in lower pa...for 2 years a trapper got hm...there pretty..and different..

congrats again...

ps.....remember paul555 he came up and hunted with you...he brought a friend we were groundhog hunting...it was pauls friends turn to shoot..i lip squeaked and 100 yards away the black booger stepped into the field..he shot low...
i could have cried...guess its the way it goes..

Happy:

Ya he came up at a horrible time I remember it was freezing and there was about a foot of snow on the ground. I dont do much Fox hunting anymore I only made it out one day this year and took a buddy of mine he shot two red and a gray. We occasionally run a red by accident on bare ground or if we cant find any yote tracks. Other then that I have given them a break the last few years.
