All year/ Seasonal

Do you guys hunt all year if your state allows, or do you take a break Spring-Summer? Curious to hear reasons on why a break is taken if it is?

I.e: Trying not to kill pups? Maintaining the population for your hunting areas?

I typically only hunt the winter for coyotes but the last few years I've pulled the rifle out of the safe in June to help thin a few in my turkey hunting areas.

I don’t set a lot of traps around this time due to fawns, but I do thermal hunt them all year long. My goal is to make them extinct, at which I am failing miserably. As long as landowners aren’t hearing howls and getting pics, I’m good.
We do have a few properties we hunt for fun though!!

Unless the coyote is a pet/livestock problem I don't hunt them until fur is priming up. More likely to set a trap, than I don't need to fight mosquitos and I like to fish/reload in the summer.
The once I’ve got recently have had some rough looking tails. Lot better in the winter for sure.
