Alliant powder has no listing of re 26 for the 6.5 Creedmoor with 140 gr bullets. does any one have some tried loads for this combination? thanks spike
 
There are a lot of threads out there from different forums discussing their results. Google it up and take a look. I run R16 in mine.
 
I use it in my 6 Creed and 270 Win., Will also try it in my 25-06. You will find data on the Nosler forum as well as Sniper's Hide forum. It works well
 
I have the Alliant reloading book and have gone on their web site looking for 6.5 CM loads. Alliant lists re16 for 6.5 140gr loads. they list re26 in the 243 win and it is impressive with 100gr bullets. I was looking for information using re26 in the 6.5 CM on other sites and most list h4350. I have re 16, re23 and re26 the first two listed information is available but not re26. thanks spike
 
It seems to be especially helpful in the heavier...130/140 gr. bullets.

I'm getting 2865fps out of my Tikka T3X A1 6.5CM with RL26, 140gr Hdy ELD-M with 48 grains....no signs of pressure.

There's more info a longrangehunting & snipershide....

The usual warning re starting low apply as always...
 
thanks every one for the information. long range hunting has lots of loads to view. Vartarg 217, I have a tikka t3 also and your loads are just what I was looking for. spike

Not to complicate things, but you should be looking at Rl-16. Much better powder for the Creedmoor, and temp stable. Is very close to H-4350.

I've worked 26, and 16 in the Creedmoor. 16 is the shizzle.
