And This From An NRA A Rated Politician

I am from his home town and never have voted for him even years ago in local gov elections. He is a career politician that will change his views to suit his career. For those of you who do not know WV politics, Sen Manchin is now in the seat of the late Sen. Byrd which one of the longest serving Sen in US history. Sen Byrd is probably rolling over in his grave knowing what his successor is up to.

So, what's next, 4oz limits on beer bottles and 5 gallon gas tanks on cars to prevent drunk drivers? How about 2 week term limits on politicians before they can do harm? Why not band meat to prevent cholesterol. I vote we ban stupidity, that has killed way more people than guns. That will get rid of most politicians and liberals in one move.
 
The only positive aspect I've seen in this event is that they are addressing Mental Health as a contributing cause as well. Otherwise, running it in the ground trying to get the sympathy play going for the anti-gun agenda. I think we can expect a great many politicians to go limp on this one, because too many people think the government is going to protect them if they take all the guns away.

 
We aren't missing anything, these idiots that keep attacking defenseless people, and especially children are the ones that are missing it. Those suffering the loss of loved ones this holiday season are definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with. They don't want to understand, the media keeps telling them that if there were no guns this wouldn't happen. We all know that's BS, but you won't convince them of that this Holiday Season, and the firkin media apparently isn't going to let it rest this holiday season, in its entirety.

If we're missing anything, it would likely be e-mails to all media outlets to get the [beeep] over it. If we're missing anything, it would be changing the channel every time any news of it comes on. All of us out there on cable and satellite are on channel counters, they start seeing the channel change every time it's broadcast, it will go away as fast Benghazi.

And, I'm not being heartless and insensitive in that. As caring, and concientious, and god fearing as my 78 year old mother-in-law is, when that story came on the news tonight, she asked me to change the channel. Said that she is "tired of listening to it, they aren't reporting anything new, they're simply running the story in the ground."

Fact is, every time we watch it, we pay for another anti-gun message. Simply change the channel, the second it comes on.

you guys need to make sure that your senators & representatives know where you stand.

be clear, be polite, cussing them out isn't going to do any good. With written correspondence, triple review it. Spell check, grammar, punctuation, case.

If you have a guy like these 2 dems that flipped, say something like "I don't know anyone who hunts with these rifles" kind of stuff, let them know that they do now. The fact is that these rifles, AR's in particular, have become hugely popular in hunting circles as well as match competition, and they represent constituents who use them, lawfully & peacefully, for such purposes. You don't see any reason that your gun & property rights should be harmed due to the actions of a mentally unstable criminal who broke every law on the books.
