Me and my buddy went out this past Saturday. Saw a couple out.Shot at one at 485 yds.but missed.Shot was 2" high. Forgot what the holdover was. Anyways, saw another at 305 yds. sitting on a log in a brush pile. Smacked him. First of the season.

Had a bud text me a pic of what i think was his first of the year. Not sure he frequents this board, so i'm counting that one for me...lol

Beautiful start to our April here in MD today. With the 1st quarter close behind me now, I just had to lace up my boots and go for a 'little walk' this afternoon about 4pm. Here's my first kill of the new season:

At the next farm then, I got a nice one off-hand at 90 yards. I missed a 3rd one though wayyyyyy out there. Yes it was windy, and yeah I wasn't really rested comfortably - but I just blew it. rushed it, flinched it, missed it. But I have tucked his address information away for future reference.

I doubt I will have as much time this year, but man it felt great to get out again! Good hunting everybody.

Went out today and even with all the wind I was able to anchor two of them.

Got this one as I was leaving the first far. 120 yds.

Headed to another farm and spotted one feeding out from an old barn/rock pile. Ranged it at 265 yds.

Heading out again tomorrow to try and increase the body count.

What rifle are you shooting. I see it is suppressed. Interesting and would like to hear more.
