Any experience with 30 cal 110 gr Varmageddon ?

I'm thinking about keeping my 14" 30-30 Contender handy as a general walk around gun for the summer, with an eye toward the coyotes that have started taking over the countryside around here. That said, I'd like a load that I could use for other vermin too. I was thinking that a load with the 110 to 130 grain bullets would be useful for this task, but the only ones that I can find in stock at anywhere near a reasonable price are the Varmageddon 110s. Do any of you fine folk have any experience with this bullet? I know that the Varmageddon in my 22-250 does a very good job of putting groundhogs to sleep, but there's a bit of velocity difference between the 22-250 and a 30-30 out of a 14 inch barrel. Thanks for any help, Gary

Well, I guess not. I went ahead and ordered a couple of hundred of the .308 110gr Varmageddon to test out. Now if I can just get some time to try them.

That 110 VMax is some kind of good bullet. The Serria 110 HP is a very good bullet also. Used it in my M1 Carbine and it punched right through a Yote at 100 yrds. Never used the Varmageddon. Didn't even think of it, but I will now.

+1 on the 110 vmax. Very accurate in everything I've tried. Also looking forward to the report on the Varmageddon, it would be a perfect alternative.
