any predator hunter on here from Ga florida or alabama ...i dont think predator hunting has caught on down here in the south yet.

I live a little below tampa,Fl. I am finding that a lot more people are predator hunting these days.

No season. The farmers HATE them. I have a farm right now that wants them all dead. I use it as a way to get land to predator hunt. If you shot a hog a week it keeps the farmers happy.

coondawg...I have seen alot of hogs in bama.Over in bank head they are getting so bad they have a season now.I hunt some in selma and we see alot .they destroy everything and breed like rabbits...
 
dalarocha shoot me a pm sometime would love to shoot some hogs.maybe after deer season you could come up and try our luck on some north al. coyotes.good luck.will check in on bank head sounds like fun.
 
I'm in Marengo Co. Ala-freakin-bama. We are covered with dogs and hogs down here. Im an ex-hog hunter, got rid of my dogs last year, and now I'm trying to get into dog hunting. My back yard is a 130 acre pasture, and all around me is pasture and fence rows. As soon as deer season goes out, i'll be going out gettin' mad at the 'yotes
 
From Pike County Alabama. Predator hunting here is definitely catching on. Myself along with about 10 others recently formed the Pike County Predator Club. We pooled our resources and contacts allowing us to gain access to a lot more areas to hunt. We had decals made up for our truck windows and you would be surprised how many people will stop you at places like Wal-Mart and ask if you shoot coyotes followed by an invite to rid their farms of a few. Predator hunting is definitely gaining steam around here.
 
Just getting into it here in SouthEast Ga. Havn't found but a couple of others that are calling. Most Yotes killed during deer season. I got lots of people wanting me to take them hunting for dogs. I did that years ago turkey hunting, to many turkey hunters now LOL. It seems like we have plenty of dogs to hunt, I'm a beagler and see the sign everywhere I hunt. Time to kill a few of the other rabbit hunters.
 
Middle GA here. Just getting in to the sport myself. There is a new group here that's started having yote contest. The first is the first weekend in Feb. GA predator hunters association I believe.
Its going to be a three day hunt with actual check in Leesburg.
 
Pickens Co Alabama here, first year to try dog shooting, waiting on deer season to end so I can try out my new e caller that I'm in the process of making. Wish me luck.
